Description

In this lecture, the concept of interaction fields is explained using the dynamic relationship between the Sun and the Earth. We look at how the Earth’s magnetic field acts as a shield against the solar wind, a stream of charged particles from the Sun. The abstract highlights phenomena such as the auroras and geomagnetic storms caused by this interaction. It shows how these invisible fields affect life on Earth and demonstrates the close but invisible connection between our planet and the central star of our solar system. As a special feature, the rhythmic-cyclical periodicity of this system is also highlighted and the so-called “galactic weather”, i.e. the possible influences of the interstellar MEdioum on the climate on Earth, is discussed in particular.
